Recognizing my Deck at DVinfo.net

Okay, I have sony HVRM15U deck. It is usable in SD so I know it works!

However, on cineforms website, it says to capture off the deck it needs to register under System Tools>Decive Manager>Sound, video and game controllers> AV/C device.

Mine shows as System Tools>Device Manager>Imaging Devices>Sony DV Tape recorder.

So what's the issue?

Just like the camera the deck can be in DV more or HDV mode, not both at the smae time. If you system see it as a DV deck it will not see it as an HDV deck. There is a menu setting on the deck to set the behavior.
