Cineframe Problems
I'm cutting a project in PPro 1.5 with Prospect HD. The show is positioned for a broadcast venue and we have two or three critical shots acquired on a Sony HDVcam in the Cineframe mode (the rest of the footage is 60i).
I've tried everything available in Prospect to take the stuttering out of a panned shot and nothing works. I used the "Remove Sony CF24 pulldown" option and even did captured without the option. I should note that I am using the Sony HDV deck. At present, I don't have access to the camera. Is this the problem, since the deck does not have a Cineframe playback option? |

It could be that Cineframe 24 looks stuttery inherently. Prospect HD allows you to extract the 24p image from the CineFrame 24p from its 60i encoding, it doesn't preform motion smoothing, nor is there and obvious motion smoothing operation. People often shoot 24p to get that look.
It is not a deck issue.
