FX1E field dominance.
I just upgraded to v4.03 and got a strange problem.
i converted m2t files to cineform avi with ver 3.2 and the file played fine. Now i am doing the same with ver. 4 and the file is shaky (field dominance is wrong). Then i change it to LOWER and it works but i always thought that field dominance for HDV was UPPER. Is there some registry key to add or modify or is it normal ? Please note i am using 1080i50 with FX1E , european model. another question: I found no explanation about the 4 choices given in the export menu with Premiere 1.5 (in compile settings) Seems we can choose for export quality : Low HD , Medium HD , HIGH HD, HIGH HD optimized, Is there a relation with the codec settings (only 3 choices ) LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH that seems related to file size ? We haven't heard of any introduced bug so I didn't think 4.03 is the issue. Plus I personal do a lot of testing with 50Hz 1080i via our Z1s, and haven't had an issue. File a trouble ticket at www.cineform.com/support so the tech guys can help you out.
