HD timeline to tape
Hi,
I'm using a trial of Cineforms' Aspect HD V4 and after I finished making some tests I wanted to play the final result and record it via firewire using my HD camera as a desk (I know this is not supposed to be done!) but nothing is displayed on the camera...all I see is the msg "firewire in" (or something like that). I always keep a copy of my projects on tape AND dvd and I'd like to keep doing it. Any advices? thanks rafa |

Hi Rafael,
You have to render an M2T file back to disk and then play *that* file back to tape . . . you can't edit a native Cineform AVI back to an HDV deck . . . and you can't play an Cineform file out a firewire port as a MPEG-2 native transport stream in real-time so your camera will never see video output like you would with DV on the camera itself while you're editing. |
