Export frame problem

I tried to export a frame in PPro 2, and get a compile problem (file-export frame-bmp or tiff, can anyone verify same problem?

Thanks
Mike

HDV in Cineform format? Exported to what size? PAR?

It works for me without a hitch in Premiere Pro 2.0 with Aspect HD 4.0

Hi Steve, cineform HDV (1440x1080), export frame as native size, to bmp or tiff

Thanks
Mike

No sweat for me, so I can't imagine what the problem is on your end. Sorry.

Interesting observation re Export Frame.
When I was having all the Export/Render failure because of the Matrox card, I noticed the same failure with frame export. Now, when I try it again, I still have the compiler failure on CFHD 1080i Export Frame, but everything else in Aspect/PPro works great.
Hmmmm.... As I look into this more closely, it gets more complicated. In some CFHD 1080i projects I can Export Frame, in others I get compiler error. In some cases involving the same captured clip.
Yikes! It's time to call in the smart guys.
Would appreciate hearing anything you figure out about this.

If you want to send me a short clip - a few seconds maybe, I can try it on my system. Use http://www.yousendit.com if you wish.

Steven,
I'll try tonite to send a bit of one of the clips that won't export. Are you thinking that it is a clip specific problem rather than a software problem?

Probably not, but if it works for me and not for you, then we know to look at your system. Right?

What is kind of strange is that the same clips will export frame in one project timeline, but not in another. Or, a timeline where I have the individual captured clips will not export frame, but another timeline containing the rendered movie 1080i CFHD .avi from those clips will export frame.

Did anyone ever get a resolution to this problem? I've just switched over to PP2.0 and I'm getting the export frame problem as well. Doesn't happen all the time, and sometimes I can step forward and then step backwards and it will export a frame that wasn't exportable before. Frustrating....
