David Newman: Progressive DVDs??
David
In another thread you had made reference to a workflow for making "great looking progressive DVDs" from CFHD 1080 interlaced. I would love to hear what you recommend. Also, as you have mentioned, the Adobe (PPro 2.0/Encore 2.0) m2v encoders do not give great results with 720x480 interlaced CFHD.avi. I get much better DVD images with in-camera downconvesion. Do you recommend Procoder 2.0 for doing the m2v encoding? Bob |

Robert,
David Newman is unfortunately away for the next two weeks. I don't recall whether the technique you're referring to is different than we have posted on our tech support site or not: www.cineform.com/support. If you go to this page and type "DVD export" in the search bar the existing articles we have appear. Otherwise there are lots of threads on exporting DVDs in this CineForm area that you can search on. David (Taylor). |
