ConnectHD 2.1 & Timecode for Canon XL-H1?
Trying out the trial....
1. Detects the XL-H1 instantly 2. Captures the HDV footage flawlessly 3. Brings the 24f HD footage in as 24p(23.976) HD excellently 4. Converts .M2T footage to Cineform .AVI effortlessly A. Fails to capture the same timecode as on the tape horribly! *sad face* Any chance of that in the future Dave? P.S. Why is the Cineform .avi that is created from the .m2t's upper field first rather then progressive? The native HDV footage is progressive right off the bat. - ShannonRawls.com

A) Aspect HD supports timeline Connect HD doesn't, a choice we made some time ago. We might add it one day, but we get very few requests for timecode in Connect HD, and there is so much is the queue right now.
P.S) ?? AVI is progressive, something must be falsely reporting this. I would like more info. on this.

Ahhhh man. No timecode for Vegas people?? It seems NOBODY wants to give VEGAS timecode for some reason. Serious Magic wouldn't do it for DV rack either.
ok, oh well. *sigh* and yes, Vegas reports the .avi cinform intermediate files as UFF. - ShannonRawls.com
