new version test drive(insert grumpy cat pix)
My GH3 camera spits out a 50mbs .mov file which will not convert in Win 8 (as per release notes) the files can be converted thru Sony Vegas into Cineform with no problem (both flavors AVI and .mov) the Vegas converted AVI will not open in the new GPSP it will open in Media player and First Light (which I had to hunt down as it didn't show in App list). The converted to Cineform .mov file will open in GPSP and allow editing.
Why bother? I love the color correction I can do in GPSP, I know there is more sophisticated but it suits me fine. Is there a way to not have the Templates pop-up not pop up? Is there a way to minimize the time line? |
