Re: Cineform HD-WMV

Just built my new editing computer with helpful suggestions from everyone here.

Finally got to try Aspect HD and am impressed with it. However, I was wondering what minimum system my potential customers will need to view this format from a DVD?

Thanks

When you encode into WMV the playback performance depend mostly on resolution. If you are planning to deliver 1080i Windows Media 9 that requires a fairly recent PC for smooth playback (about 3.2Ghz +). For this reason (the progressive nature of the majority of HD displays), that most HD WMV clips a encoded at 1280x720p24 or 30, this will playback on most PCs (2Ghz+)
