Any benefit with Cineform and XDCAM-files?
I recently bought the Sony PMW150 XDCAM. I understand that I have to transform the files into mov if I want to run the files through Remaster (I'm on a MAC). My questions are, (i) is there a quality loss in the conversion from Sony XDCAM to mov and (ii) is there something to be gained by converting the mov files into cineform files?
