Neoscene and remove pulldown
Hey guys, just curious how everyone removes pulldown with Neoscene. My version (5.6.2) doesn't have a "remove pulldown" option. I was told to use the "convert to 24p" option but I don't like what it does to the video. it seems like it blends some frames instead of removing the pulldown. If I remove the pulldown using After Effects it actually removes the pulldown instead of blending frames. Am I missing something? By the way I'm using a Canon HV20.
Thanks |

Re: Neoscene and remove pulldown
Pulldown removal is on the fly, up the first second could have blended frames. Once the pull-down cadence is detected the remain frames are clean. If it is having pull-down issues beyond the first second, contact support.

Ah that was it. I was looking at the first couple of seconds of each video. Thanks

Re: Neoscene and remove pulldown
We do it this way as the AE approach is slower, and our technique also work for sources with changing pull-down cadence, which AE does not.
