Workflow issues - HD to SD using Remaster and FCP
I have 1080p footage from a GH1 and converted to PAL 16:9 using Remaster. I have FCP7.
The converted footage is 1024x576. Now no matter what settings I use within a FCP project, I always get the orange or blue render bars. This is really strange. I have a project with CF as the codec, and I have to re-render when I bring in a 5 second file. Is that standard behavior for a custom 16:9 1024x576 project in FCP? I also tried PAL 720x576 with Anamorphic 16:9 ticked in FCP in case that was the issue.

Re: Workflow issues - HD to SD using Remaster and FCP
We can only real time accelerate FCP7 with standard HD resolutions, 720p and 1080p. Same issue happens for 2048x1152 shooters. It is better to edit at a higher resolution than your target, so edit at 1080, then export to PAL.
