audio channels merge when converting from MXF files

Hi

When I import MXF files into Premiere Pro CS5.5, there are two separate audio channels.

But when I convert MXF files to Cineform files and then import into Premiere, the two audio channels merge into one.

Is there anyway to keep the two audio channels separate when converting or am I doing something wrong?

Re: audio channels merge when converting from MXF files

Would this have something to do with the AC3Filter?
