Feature Request
Now that GoPro offers such a great way to capture 3D AND that combined with the Cineform 3D workflow we nearly have a complete solution from end to end. The only problem is sharing and distributing your final 3D Movie. Yes, you can upload it to youtube, spend a fortune and author a 3D Bluray. I currently render out a sbs mp4 and watch it on my PS3 connected to a 3D TV, the results are great considering it's really only half res. The thing that annoys me is that I have to switch the TV into 3D mode manually. Afterr a bit of digging around, i found that the AVC spec supports SEI, so it is technically possible that an AVC file with SEI could in fact switch the TV into 3D mode automatically. Considering GoPro/Cineform offer a near complete solution from end to end, I could see the benefit for offering for purchase such a delivery/storing file structure. I found this, which from the desciption would fit in nicely with what GoPro/Cineform offer.

Re: Feature Request
We have experimented with SEI packets so youtube users didn't need to add 3D metadata, it almost worked, but didn't make the final release. I expect it will be in a future release.
