Unable to create Qt reference without recompression
With relevance to a recent post where I could not export CF file after replacing the audio without recompression.
I have cut some CF files together on the FCP timeline version 7.0.3 (FCS3) When I export a CF qt ref file, it ALWAYS decides to recompress the footage.

Re: Unable to create Qt reference without recompression
I just exported a CineForm reference movie from FCP 7.0.3. The movie was 2:51 in length and took all of 5 seconds to export on a laptop. The resulting file was 33MBytes - just audio and references to the original file.
Make sure you tell support the frame rate and resolution of the CF files, whether you have any filters or special effects or multiple video tracks. |
