Performance improvement

I just upgraded my computer to Sandybridge 2500k+ w/ 8GB of RAM. I still find my conversions from M2T to Cineform take a long time. How can I speed up this conversion? Would another 8GB of RAM improve my conversion times significantly? Or is this more likely to be a hard drive latency? My drives are not raided, and I don't really know if I want to raid them.

Re: Performance improvement

No data to go on. What is a long time? My system converts M2T 3-4X faster than realtime, which is nice.
