Audio of mux is out of sinc
Strange issue.
clips acquired with blackmagic in cineform with cineform build v291, single eyes audio are ok, all in sinc. i try to mux them together, with firstlight, audio mux is out of sinc, delay since 2 seconds (it grab a previous part of audio, no mute audio). i try to mux with v296, nothing. i try to mux with 304 ok, but only one computer, i tested on other seven computer (my friends are real friends), and not work, same out of sinc. any idea? is there some library or dll that cineform use to manage audio sinc? and more... other clips, converted from file to cineform never present problem, with all version of cineform. the mux is correct only on ones computer, every other computers of friends where i tested cineform seems to have fault on audio. Seems like it sinc video, but use audio from the start of file and not from sinc point. I checked many time, i tested to rebuild sinc point, with and without database, but nothing, it work only on one computer, no more. |

Re: Audio of mux is out of sinc
ok i found the bug...
to correct it need only an additional flag on Cineform code about audio. what do you think to start a bugs' buster contest with a neo3D license for the winner? more bugs with solution finded more points :-) |

Re: Audio of mux is out of sinc
Is this something we need to know, or others maybe?

Re: Audio of mux is out of sinc
yes david. my idea of contest is a joke :-))
you have two clip left clip sinc on frame 100 and right clip sinc on frame 200, if you choose to keep audio from left eye you have correct audio sinc, if you grab audio from right you have an offset of audio, offsetted exactly by the difference of frame. is a small bug. during mux, stereomux must check and cut longer audio. |
