FirstLight: trying to mimic color space from a single photo
Hi
Im using FirstLight - and my goal is to mimc the color space from a few photo stills from a film.... I know the film was shot on Kodak 5247 ( and love that FirstLight has a LUT for 5247! ) I have no real reference color card shot from the film tho... just a few still shots that I want to try and match best as possible towards with what Im shooting. How might you guys go about doing something like this? Any ideas for getting close by studying a single photo? match contrast? match color temperature? etc... What would be your starting point? cheers Tj |

I was trying to match clips in photoshop with "match color," but couldn't get it to work with video. Boris Continuum has a match color plugin, but I haven't researched a cheaper option. They have a trial, and it worked pretty well.
