Grid Artifacting! - RGB/VGA > VIZIO HDTV
Hey!
I'm setup with a nvidea Quadro 4800. It has dual DVI. One to my monitor, one to my HD BON BLM 240 monitor for Grading. I switch over to my VIZIO 48" 720p HDTV via "RGB" (DVI>VGA) for client to view. When I play out on the VIZIO, there is some major artifacting. I see boxes, like a grid pattern over the whole image, which increases when detail settings are increased. The BON HD monitor via DVI does not have this problem. Can someone explain why this is happening or how to avoid this? I am concerned that it may happen with the final rendered file when I play out for screenings. |

Nothing to go on here. Your 720p TV sounds like is aliasing with a terrible down scaler.
