Release cadidate for v5.3.1
This is the release version probably be officially released on Tuesday. As there is a holiday Monday, nothing is likely to change between now and then. Let us now if they are any big things broken, but I expect you will find this a very solid release.
Neo3D http://cineform.com/downloads/Neo3Dv531b303-110221.zip Neo4K http://cineform.com/downloads/Neo4Kv531b303-110221.zip NeoHD http://cineform.com/downloads/NeoHDv531b303-110221.zip NeoScene http://cineform.com/downloads/NeoSce...303-110221.zip Build 5.3.1.303, released 22-February-2011 Added: support 4444 (alpha channel) sources to use FirstLight and Active Metadata corrections. Added: support for r408/v408 decodes with alpha channel. Added: support for 3D corrections for interlaced sources. Added: support for framing corrections for interlaced sources. Added: Alpha channel exports from Premiere Pro CS5. Added: some .3dl support for the LookInstaller. Enhanced: 100+ generations quality for 16-bit pixel formats. Enhanced: 2D source can now be used in 3D productions. Enhanced: the 601 to 709 math use for Canon DSLR video conversion. Fixed: QuickTime 444 export pop-up window has been restored. We found and fixed few issues with the Premiere plugins over the last few weeks, but I don't have details.

Hi All,
I can only recommend that new build, the enhancements are well worth it. Boundaries have been pushed once more. Congratulations to David & the Cineform team for this important build, Axel |

Re: Release cadidate for v5.3.1
We haven't yet looked into the nesting issue, I have also reproduced this. For now either don't nesting or use the desktop preset.

Re: Release cadidate for v5.3.1
Please...PLEASE can we fix the nesting issue soon! I posted the bug many months ago and it adversely affects my workflow. The work-around causes major slow downs that would not be necessary if this one issue was fixed. I know I'm only one person, but this bug has to be the most detrimental that I have experienced in Cineform and my editor is really fed up with the issue. (I can understand why) I understand that features are the name of the game when it comes to software, but quality features are what keep customers happy.

Re: Release cadidate for v5.3.1
The nesting bug just went away (not a single code change on our end.)
Test now and fast if you want this in the pending release. http://miscdata.com/temp/CFRTPlayback.zip Unzip and replace in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro CS5\Plug-ins\Common\CineForm

Adobe SDK, its sample code had the bug. Updated the SDK.
