Cineform Master Transfer
Hi Guys,
I need some advice. I have a 22 minute doco made in Vegas pro 9 all finished. I have a Cineform master AVI however I need to give the transfer house a Cineform MOV. (for FCP) I have had a couple of attempts transferring in HDLink from AVI to MOV however the final MOV file sync seems to be out when played back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also advice on transfer settings in HDLink would be great. Thanks in advance. Don |

Don...
In HDLink in the prefs...select destination file format...check MOV then also check "force re-wrap avi > MOV" this will rewrap the codec...no re compression needed...and super fast also sometimes playing back in the quicktime player the video can be choppy and seem out of sync... i often see issues when playing back h.264 through the quicktime player if you just force a re wrap there should be no issues, and this is by far the best way to go about this |

Thanks so much Mike. Will do as suggested.
As far as the playback, you are absolutely correct. We played the Cineform MOV file on a mac and it played back fine even though it was out of sync on a PC Quicktime. Thanks again |
