First Light TIP!
If grading multiple shots, and you want to reference a clip's color correction to make them match:
Windows: 1. Open Snipping (screencap tool, freeware version called snippy online if you don't have win7/vista) 2. take screen cap of the window with your image on it - (I have my window in fullscreen on a broadcast monitor so I screen cap that whole monitor in full 1920x1080) 3. open that window in paint (with snipping, it opens automatically) 4. compare color grading in that image to the image in the FL player monitor. -- I snip with my tools -rgb parade/vectorscope - overlayed to do a technical correction correction reference. Similar way to do this on a MAC using screen captures. |
