AG3DA1 timecode issue
Hi all,
Has anyone here done a full round trip with the AG3DA1? I am currently testing it and have come across a big problem The QT generated by firstlight doesn't seem to contain a timecode track that is read properly by FCP/QT player. When opening the file in FCP 7.03 the clip is seen as not having a TC track (so starts at 00:00:00:00). - The AG3DA1 clips are made by using the "import AG3DA1 pairs" option from the import menu in first light. When opening the same clip in QT7 and looking at the "nondrop TC" there is a just a bunch of numbers (eg: orig clip=10:51:03:00, QT reads as 209674) that seems to increment every 24 frames (frame rate of original clips are 23.98). The odd thing is that if I load the clip into remaster, it seems to detect the correct, original TC. So the original TC is obviously in the QT, it's just not in the 'right place'. Cineform installation details: Trial version of cineform 3d codec: 6.9.3.530 remaster: 5.2.7.168 firstlight: 5.2.9.70 FCP 7.03 OS 10.6.6 I have sent an email to cineform support, but thought I'd post here as well in case someone has had the same issue.
