rewrap utility problem
When using the rewrap utililty through the command prompt, in order to copy to a new file with a new GUID for FirstLight reasons, the audio is shifted out of sync.
I've attached a screenshot. In the original file on bottom everything is fine. In the file with the new GUID the audio is somehow early and the beginning of the audio that now falls before the video clip starts is gone. I think this is a bug. Thankfully, I just need the video right now so it's not a wrench in the gears. But hopefully this utility to make a clip with a new GUID will be fixed and then integrated into firstlight or something so we don't have to do scary things like command prompt. |

Also, the rewrap -n didn't work! firstlight still applies the same settings to both clips as if they have the same GUID.

You need to upgrade. This was discussed a few days ago and the patch made it into v5.2.1
http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/cineform...rrections.html As for audio slip, I have not seen that, and I was the tool a lot, so please send a source sample file that does that to support via yousendit.com.

Works now. Great! Thanks! I didn't upgrade, I just installed the new rewrap at that link.
Also..... it fixed the audio sync issue. Cool. |
