Converting Canon 5D mark ii 24p material - NeoScene unable to detect frame rate
Hi.
I've just started out using Cineform, testing it out with a trial version of NeoScene I downloaded a few days ago. I'm shooting with a Canon 5D mark ii and converting the files with NeoScene to Cineform-coded avi files for editing (I'm in PAL land, running Windows XP). I've managed to shoot 1080 (25p) and convert successfully. Then I tried to shooting with the Canon 5D mark ii set to 1080 (24p). When attempting to convert the 24p - I got the following notifications in the CineForm Capture/Convert Log: Quote:
In NeoScene Prefs > Output frame format > I had "Maintain source frame format" and "Progressive Source" both checked. Regarding the audio stream: Didn't run into this problem with 25p. Also, I checked the original .mov file that I imported from the camera and it definitely has sound. Any ideas why this is happening? THX |

Installing the latest QuickTime Player will usually solve this.
