Exporting
If i capture with cineform 1440x1080 hdv 50i 25fps (pal land) and edit on a hdv timetime in cs5
when exporting in cs5 for bluray should i output the same as the source meaning 1440x1080 then select h.264 bluray hdtv? Is there any reason why i should upscale to 1920x1080 (square pixels) when outputting for bluray? |

Title or post graphic elements. These are the best reasons to prescale 1440 to 1920 and edit at the higher resolution, so your BluRay will benefit from the extra resolution -- otherwise 1440 is fine. No point is upscaling upon export.

So if im working with encore menus after effect templates for example incorporate a photo montage with my project most templates are in 1920 could i mix that with 1440?
or do i have to edit from a 1920 timeline from the start given that my xha1s captures at 1440x1080? Last edited by Mark Webb; September 8th, 2010 at 05:09 PM. |
