Cineform Video editing Timings out on a Mac with Premiere cs3
I have a question, I edited a project on Adobe Premeire pro cs3 under Windows, I loaded the project file onto the MAc with Adobe Premeire pro cs3, I installed the free Cineform player.
The Media I re-link to the Cineform MOV's which I converted from AVI's using HDLINK. The Cineform video on the timeline is not retaining the edit points of my original project. So all the video edits on the timeline are not the points in and out that I specified. Does this mean when I used HDLINK to re-wrap the AVI file to the MOV is lost the timecode of the original clip? Thanks, Leo |

HDLink will not put a timecode in the MOV wrapper, it only it preserves in the sample. However the Mac Premiere doesn't have our importer (yet), so it can't extract the timecode from the sample and hopes to find it in the MOV wrapper. We have fixed this under ReMaster (NeoHD Mac), it will extract the AVI's timecode and generate an MOV timecode track. So the solution is the wrap on the Mac.
