1080p to 720p in HDLink
Please tell me if I am doing this correctly. I have some 1080 30p footage I would like to use in a PP CS5 720 60p timeline. I am starting out by changing the 1080 30p footage to 720p footage in HDLink. Then I should be able to drop it in the timeline without having to resize it. Is that correct?

It depends if you want Premiere Pro to do the resizing or HDLink. Besides, HDLink will only convert the 1080 30p to 720 30p, unless they've added a new feature recently.

Thank you for your input. How do I resize in PP? What is the best way to do it? Thanks again!
