cs4 & cs3 - problems exporting cineform avi's

Hi, just got neoscene & can't get premiere cs4 or 3 to create a cineform avi when exporting. Im using canon 550d footage transcoded with neoscene (have tried with both high & medium quality)
Using cs4 i tried to export 1 minute of edited footage from the timeline via ame & it took nearly 4 hours to render which is crazy - however after this long wait i can not find the edited file - it is not in the folder i saved it to, when i do a search it says its a missing file shortcut
Tried the same thing in cs3 & it comes up with "error compiling movie. unknown error". at least with this one i didnt have to wait 4 hours to achieve nothing
Does anyone know what the problem is - i can export microsoft avi's with cineform codec, (although it still takes about 8 minutes to do a minutes worth in cs4 & about 5 minutes in cs3 which still seems quite slow) - but i believe that is only 8bit & is not as good as cineform avi for colour correction & green screen work
Hope someone can help - cant find any similar threads with the same issue
for what its worth im on vista 32bit, core2 duo 2.53ghz, hd3650 radeon, 4 gb ram
