Cineform Audio problems

I used Cineform (NeoHD trial version) to transcode some Canon T1i/500D video files 720p for editing within PP CS4 on a Win 7 PC, i7 970 CPU, 12 GB RAM. The original files have their audio intact. The Cineform files have no audio attached. While it's easy enough to link the original audio to the Cineform avi files, I'd rather not do that! Is this a known problem or is there an update?

Just FYI, transcoding AVCHD files into Cineform works fine with the audio intact.

OK... more info...

I installed the AC3 Filter as per other posts. I then rerendered (re-conformed) the Canon T1i .mov files and tried something interesting. The files play back WITH the audio intact. Therefore I know the audio is present in the Cineform .avi clips. When I import them into Premiere Pro CS4, the audio does not come in. I've tried to import via Ctrl+I and using the media browser but no luck with the audio. The audio is 44.1k 16bit mono.

Assiatnce please? Mods: prehaps move this thread now to the PP CS4 section? Thanks!

Send a T1i.mov sample to support Support Center -- it is not a camera we have targetted (like we've done for 5D/7D) but it should be supportable.

I'll send one in a few. Now, from what I understand, the T1i (and the T2i) will encode video justr the same as the 7D and 5DMkII, so... Thanks!

T2i will be like the 7D (we believe) yet the T1i is quite different.

T1i audio... interesting

I just tried various ways to "fix" my audio problems. I downloaded TMPGenc Xpress and did a transform of my original T1i .mov files. I was able to get audio as single channel and transformed into stereo. Please note: I'd rather use Cineform than TMPG! My question is: is there a setting within Cineform HDLink that will allow me to transform the audio from its original single channel (mono) 44.1Khz to stereo? I think the problem may lie within the T1i files themselves as the mono signal doesn't want to come across.
