"Active Metadata reader" message
After upgrading to Windows 7 from Vista Business 64 bit, I get the "Active Metadata reader not working: error message upon booting up the computer.
Any fixes for this?? |

I have this too, with Vista64 Ultimate SP2 (using Prospect HD 4.2).
First light will only run when I use Admin mode (right click)? |

Report to support, as I'm not familiar with that error message. It is possible that you both have your database set up in a path you user privileges don't grant you access (easily a problem for Vista and Win7.)
If you have no First Light color corrections already you could do the following. --- cut here --- Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CineForm\ColorProcessing] "LUTPath"="C:\\Users\\Public\\CineForm\\LUTs" "DBPath"="db" --- cut here --- save as FixDBPath.reg double click on this .reg file If you do have existing color corrections. You will need to open Regedit.exe see where HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CineForm\ColorProcessing\LUTPath is currently pointing. You can move everything to C:\Users\Public\CineForm\LUTs or change the permissions for the current path.
