Weird, likely a setup issue as the difference should be huge. Oh well, CS3 is behind us, on with CS5.

As Adam said that's only what happens on my workstation with my workflow....

anyway my point was that one should try editing raw hdv and see for himself before anything else. turned out best for me.

I tried it and it is SLOWWWW compared to cineform .avi's.

No comparison.

cineform wins all the time on my workstation.
