David...How's the Cineform DPX thing coming
just wondering if theres any progress on the C-DPX front...
the reason I'm asking is that Fusion is increasingly becoming vital in my workflow.....which we all know imports cineform as 8 bit...which basically sucks also a bit of a feature request.... any chance of a DPX converter scripts.....similar to the R2CF scripts...I have a heck of a time getting the converter to work through a command shell... |

DPX-C is moving along, hopeful it will roll out more generally before or at NAB.
R2CF scripts can be modified to drive DPX2CF, they are just text files you can make do different things. That might be difficult if you are uncomfortable on a shell, but they are many who are not. You could probably get some custom scripting created very cheaply with services like rentacoder.com, exactly for your needs. We are not likely to do new scripts ourselves as we are more likely to build those features in GUIs, but that is a way off.
