As we support QuickTime, DirectShow and VideoForWindows, the DivX support should support one of them -- contact their support.

Hello,

I had the same issues, I contacted Divx support on three occassions. I have two tickets open and even sent them a link to download a CIneform AVI file to test.

They never responded, so I just gave up and now encode for the web into h264's from Adobe Media Encoder.

Hi Guys

Had a reply back from DIVX. WE will see if they can solve it in the new year?

-------
Dear DivX user,

DivX Converter will not support the Cineform HD codec. You will not be able to convert this file to a DivX format with the DivX Converter.

I have forward your file to our engineers. If I hear any feedback on this issue I will make sure to let you know.

We apologize for any inconvenience that might have caused for you.

Thank you,
DivX Support Team

FYI, CineForm has also been in contact with Divx. No promises, but it looks like we'll be working with them to a solution. No schedule yet, but it looks like a solvable problem.

Hello David,

Any luck with getting DIvx to open and encode the Cineform file?

Thanks,

Leo

I have found a solution I have added the steps onto my blog, on how to read the Cineform file with Divx Convertor.

Divx Convertor Not Reading Cineform Files | Leo Baker

Thanks,
