First Light MXF import
Hi there everyone ... is there any possibility of importing mxf files into FirstLight - or there will be any in the near future ?
I suspect there is a possibility offered by hdlink to convert the mxf to avi - but i was wondering if i can apply the white balance without the need of conversion ... Respect, Soreen |

First Light is color correction and image manipulation database tool, that only works on CineForm files, as only the CineForm decoder has a database driven image development engine. It is not a color tool like Colorista or Magic Bullet Looks, which does work on multiple file types, but also requires a render to keep the "look". The renderless CC is unique to CineForm. So there is no way to support any other format in First Light.
