How the heck do I deactivate a serial #?
I just installed Windows 7.. now that the trial is over. .I'm trying to activate my copy of NeoScene.. I think I initially tried to activate it using the incorret Hardware ID (Since Activate.exe provides two different types.. dunno why!?) So the Activation Code generated does not work.
Now I need to deactivate the serial # before I can re-attempt the auth code generation. However, there is NO deactivate option within Activate.exe despite all documentations indicating as such.. Anyone know what to do? Thanks. |

You can't de-activate something was hasn't yet been activated. File a trouble ticket with support and it will be sorted out tomorrow.

I've sent an e-mail to Jake as well..
Basically your website thinks the serial has been activated.. The app itself is not activate because the activation code generated does not work - which is why the deactivate feature is not available... Why does the cineform activate tool display both the std and enh machine codes? Why not just display only the enh if both are available? Would seem like a simple conditional logic to implement and would save a lot of time on both the customer and the support sides. |

It is a bug in the licensing software we use, we can easily fix it.
