Audio sync problem ProspectHD and 7D
Hi - I posted earlier about this problem, and filed a ticket with Cineform, but haven't heard anything, and I wanted to see if anybody else had a similar problem.
When I convert MOV files shot at 25P with an EOS 7D to cineform, the HDLink log reports "Pitch-Correcting Canon 5D audio to 29.97." The audio then drifts out of sync about 2 frames per minute. There are no settings I can find that mention 29.97, either in the camera or in HDLink. I'm in PAL land. When I capture from my XHA1, there is no problem. It's only the 7D files that have it, after conversion. XP, ProspectHD latest version Any ideas? |

This why Canon is remiss in not send us a camera. Seems like a bug. Could you please upload a short clip with obvious audio sync to ftp://ftp.cineform.com/pub/incoming (use regular windows explorer then drag in the sample file.)
Sorry for the delays in support, the support lead got married this weekend.

Congrats to the newlyweds. I sent a file to Cineform before via yousendit. I just updated the ticket with the link information. I did it this way rather than upload the huge file again, but I could FTP it to you if I have to. Thanks.
