Neo Scene issue with 720 30p Panasonic files?
A few of us have been noticing that 720 30p AVCHD files shot with the HMC150 are playing back "sped up"- or at twice the speed in Vegas Pro 9. Has anyone else encountered this? Did a search but nothing came up.

I would also be interested to know if neo scene has a problem with 720 30P as that's what im shooting my current project on and was considering using cineform for transcoding.

I have the same problem. They told me they were working on it a few days ago, but I sure hope they release a fixed version soon, since I really want to start editing my movies. If they won't be able to fix it, a refund should be offered to people with this problem. I have no other use for this app than to use it for editing the videos I recorded with my Panasonic camera.

Do you have a trouble ticket open? The forum is to seek help for other users not to replace support differently from CineForm. CineForm engineers are very busy and do not check here as often, but check support tickets every day.

Update
after a trouble ticket, CF sent me a patch to install and correct the issue. Thanks!

I can post the patch if cineform does not mind, but it was based on my OS and NLE version

thanks David,
save the attached files to your computer. then double click the file called doublespeedfix.reg. That will add a patch to your system registry that will tell Neo Scene to convert the files properly. If you ever need to convert files from other camera sources, double click the 'doublespeeedundo.reg' file. |

FYI
I had also experienced this, as mentioned in this thread: http://www.dvinfo.net/forum/cineform...erated-2x.html (Note: the thread title is misleading as the issue was in fact with 720/30p video)
