Playback on HDTV at DVinfo.net

System specs are:

Windows Vista Ultimate
Intel i7 920 2.67 GHZ
12 GB memory
64 bit OS
ATI HD 4800 Series
1.5 TB Raid 0 internal drive (project files)
1TB WD internal drive (Back up and assorted files)
2 500 GB WD Raid 0 drives for OS

I firewire out from pc to a JVC analog recording deck/playback device(SR-VS10). and then composite out to a HDTV

Image on HDTV is very narrow in appearance on screen.But width is fine.Image in project window is normal.

If I make any changes in size/scaling (even 1 point ) the image will play back fine.

No problems with M2t files ,they playback fine, only with Cineform PHD when converting the M2t's through HDlink.

Any thoughts...settings I can adjust for playback on xternal monitor?
