Digitizing Weirdness
I installed the Aspect HD trial last week but just got around to digitizing footage today.
I'm having some big 'ol problems. When I view the clips there is a bunch of breaking up. It happens at the beginning of virtually every clip and if there is a lot of motion or the camera moves. Is this a setting thing? I'm using the "Make Large Files" check box, should I be using a more compressed setting? Do I need a faster hard drive? I defragged the hard drive a week ago and use it for nothing but media files. Thanks in advance! |

I just digitized a couple of scenes at Medium Res and had the same results.
My system is a 2.8 (not hyperthreaded) P4 with 1 gig ram |

Please fill a trouble ticket at www.cineform.com (click on the support link.) This sounds like MPEG errors which means data is not getting from the camera to the PC intact -- tech support should be able to help you.

I am also having the same problem. Please advise what we may do to avoid the breaking of the image in capturing.
