Can't convert
Have two systems that run Prem Pro and AspectHD. One system captures converts to CineForm no problems. Second system video will capture to .m2t no problem but will not convert to CineForm. Same cam, same tape, same cable.
Tech support seems dead in the water. Any ideas? Camera settings the same. Both sytems i865 chipset. Have done full re-install of both Prem Pro and AspectHD including newest update. Help! Ken

You have to see what all the differences between the systems
are. 64 bit cpu versus 32 bit cpu? XP Prof versus XP Home? Service Pack 1 versus 2? Perhaps you are low on diskspace on some or all of your drives etc.?

Ken,
Will that system export to CFHD from a Premiere Pro timeline? This will test one of the encoders. There are now two encoding components in Aspect HD, did tech support ask you to re-register these components? C:\Program Files\Common Files\CineForm\Encode.ax C:\Program Files\Common Files\CineForm\Encoder2.ax

Support asked me to re-install AspectHD (newest) and Premiere Pro. They did not ask me to re-register those components.
I have not tried to encode from the timeline. I will do so asap.

Re-installing should be as effective as re-registering. Do check that the two encoding components are were they should be.

Hi there.
The files CFEncode.ax and CFEncoder2.ax are there. I placed a .m2t file (renamed to .mpg) into the timeline and rendered sucessfully to CineForm .avi Now if we can just get it to convert when captured we will be in business.
