Timecode, Batch Capture

There seems to be some confusion as to whether the FX1 has timecode. (The manual says yes, DF TC). So a few questions. Is there usable TC upon capture? Will PPro see the original TC? And, as a workflow concept, can you batch capture HDV that is being downconverted to DV (in camera), then edit etc. And then use the same Batch list TC to recapture as HDV? Offline in DV, so to speak. Most likely I will use PPro and Cineform, (saving my few pennies for the camera, then the software, etc.) So it would be nice to know the possible workflow ahead of time.

FX1 has timecode, and timecode support is coming soon. The CineForm AVIs already support timecode, however the current capture tools don't and the timecode to the AVI.
