Cineform and the New Canon 7D
David and all at Cineform:
Do you guys have any advance information on how Cineform will be handling the various new frame rate capabilities of the Canon 7D.

It will not be a problem for us, it works today. We do likely need a few tweaks for audio, as the 7D get the frame rates correct, we need to determine if the sources is a 5D or 7D.

I have just got a 7d and im having problems with prospect 3(the final revision b4 v4).
It wont do a straight conversion it says something like "unsupported format for this licence" (sorry to be vague but im not near my edit computer).......I can convert but i have to enable resize to 1920x1080...its more than likely doing something it shouldnt. open to suggestions. |

Canon did not send us an engineering sample (there bad given the number of Canon users with CineForm Neo.) So you will need to upload your samples to support.

Vimeo will not help. We need the camera originals. Use yousendit.com
OR open a window explorer window (StartKey+E) and set the address to ftp://ftp.cineform.com/pub/incoming, and drag your camera's MOV files into the window. This doesn't work for everyone, but it is handy when it does. Email support@cineform.com with the names of the files you just uploaded.

You need to notify support yourself, as I'm on my way to Film Festival for a 3D presentation in Jackson Hole.
