Neo Scene 24p at DVinfo.net

I took my 5d clips and converted thru Neo Scene and went to avi, and clicked the 24p button, when I put them into Vegas each clip showed 23.97, the audio was in sinc, except one clip, which when I do it again it may be alright, I am using an external HD and sometimes clips are messed up, maybe due to speed, but, generally the clips appear as 24p down from 30p, So what exactly is taking place.

As far as I know, that 24p radio box is for pulldown removal, not for converting to 24p. I think that the wording is just bad in the prefs, and confuses a lot of people.

And you know that shooting in 30p and then dropping frames, or blending, to 24p will not make your video true 24p, right? There is not a good way of shooting at 30 and ending up with a believable 24p, so I would suggest you forget the whole thing. I know some people they are ok with it, but I personally wouldn't be. If you need a 24p footage, get a real 24p camera.
