Exact procedure to retain TIMECODE from clips?

Looking for step-by-step instructions on how to correctly retain the video clips' original timecode while capturing into Cineform.

I have Cineform Prospect HD 3.4.0.

Scenarios:

1. EX1 records internally onto SxS card. Then footage is converted into Cineform. Steps to retain timecode?

2. EX1 outputs via HD-SDI live, I capture it with PC equipped with HD-SDI card and Cineform's HD-Link. Steps to retain timecode?

Also:

3. What is the most effective way to sync two cams' timecodes for multi-hour two-cam shoot when both cams stop and start independently, but the footage needs to be synched later in post? (With EX1's, is it possible to simply set timecode to the date/time/frames, so every clip is marked independently and could be ID'd in post by the absolute time values?)

Everything is Cineform based.

Thanks.
