Requests for change of HDLink and P2 conversion!
Hello David
Is it possible for you to make a change in the HDlink import conversion for the P2 MXF files so that it split the audio in to 4 single mono files? Right now you get one stereo audio file in the AVI package (track 1 & 2) and one separate file outside of the AVI file (track 3 & 4). If I use Premiere’s P2 project to convert these P2 MXF files, it splits the two stereo files in to 4 mono tracks, just the way I like it. I also would like to determine my own path to where I want to save the converted files (AVI); right now they are placed at the same directory as the default MXF files. Best Regards Mikael Bergstrom |

You can choose the output path, set "Use Capture Location for converted files." We are unlikely to change the audio support in that way, not enough cameras/users will benefit.

The output path was the first I tried but this will not have any effect it won't work, if I set the path to a location I like it will still put the converted files (AVI) in the same directory as the MXF files?
To sad to here that the split won't workout:-( Regards Mikael |

If something is not working, that is question for support. Set the check box and selecting the output path is working here.
