What is the status of Prospect HD4 realtime engine

I have yet to upgrade from Prospect HD4-b213 to b214. Since there is no mention of the realtime engine in the update log I just figured I'd wait.

What is the status of the realtime engine and the pre-sets?

Thanks...

Not yet. We have final got some good good and stability out of the CS4 importer, freeing our way to playback module. Today 4.0.7.216 is going out, working nicely with CS4 and bunch of other goodies. When we have RT engine will at least bump to 4.1.

Im really looking forward to the CS4 realtime addition.

Prosepct does a great job of upscaling footage via HDlink.
I spent quite a while searching the net to buy a product that could upscale and downscale.. never thought I already had it in built in HDlink.
That alone for me is worth the money I paid for the cineform product.
I'm working on a few web projects and upscaling DVD to 720p and 1440.. then downscaling to 1024x576 in mp4.h264 codec. The results are fantastic.

Gary,

Are you upscaling SD to HD?

Yes.
I'm taking the standard definition files (mine are PAL from a DVD) and I can upscale the VOB files. They look really good too. I then convert them to .h264mp4 for my web software.

If you get time... take a look.
The Metal Detectives University at mduni.com
The player software is only small and you can view a trailer of the production so you get the idea of quality.

We have our own player and DRM system encoded into the video.
This way you can only watch it on your computer.
Saves me a fortune in DVD production now, no more different formats and viewable all over the world.

I will be launching it next week as I have to add some more products to the catalogue.

Just another reason why Prospect 4 is worth the wait.
