Edit cineform w/o Prospect at DVinfo.net

Sorry folks, I'm new to cineform here. I tried searching but couldn't find a solution.

It looks like I may be collaborating on a project in where all the footage has already been captured into cineform files. Apart from the codec on the website, will I need anything else to edit these files on PPro? From what I can tell it would be preferable to have Prospect, but I don't need it, do I?

My understanding: By uploading NeoPlayer, you get the decoder. You will not be able to encode back to Cineform, and will have to take it to another codec.
