Canon 5D Mark II, manual controls, posible 24P looming.
I was just wondering, now that Canon is going to release firmware adding manual controls to the 5DM2, the posibility that 24P is coming our way. Does cineform plan on supporting that too? I would be nice to have that capability so it can be taken avantage of. So far there are no indications that it will be in this coming firmware, however it does look like it will be imminent.
Thanks Rick C. |

We generally support new modes on camera before anyone else, and 24p support is our focus.

What is the best workflow to get the 5d Mark II video from the camera to PPCS4 using Prospect HD?
Just saw a sample video for the first time and was AMAZED! Simon |

HDlink in V4.x supports the Canon 5D, and directly converts to a corrected range YUV 4:2:2 at 29.97. From there it is pretty easy to work with no matter which NLE you use.

Really?
Cool! So you are just doing a simple conversion via HDLink? Wow! It is impressive. And tomorrow you will have manual control of the video. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Simon |
