Adobe Media Encoder at DVinfo.net

I do not see an option with latest version of neohd installed to export to cineform media file (i wanna export my timeline to sd using hdlink) The option does exist if you export your timeline from premier cs4 but if i open adobe media encoder and add the sequence there, the cineform stuff is not in the export options.

Is this feature available or broken atm?

seems like the installer is still not installing properly. the plugins folder in media encoder did not have any cfhd file in it. I copied it to that folder and i can see the codec but everytime i export, it get the following:

The components do not need to be moved (and should not.) All the CS4 components share the same MediaCore path.

C:\Program Files...Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS4\MediaCore

I loaded the AME directly and it worked fine. Please try a Neo HD reinstall IF that doesn;t work, contact support on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday.)

thanks for the info David. The installer had not installed anything in the mediacore folder. I have copied the files to the folder and media encoder and see it now. The crashing issue is still there though. Will raise a case on tuesday with support and see how it goes.

i narrowed down to this problem. The installer is again to blame. Installing neohd on a machine that has cs4 production suite on default location ie. c:\program files(x86)\adobe folder, the installer installs everything properly. On this particular machine, i have production suite installed on the d:\program files\adobe folder. The adobe installer has installed the media encoder in the c: drive.

looks like there is another problem. i encoded using cineform avi encoder, selecting the frame rate to 25fps but the encoded video turned out to be 29fps. The audio is scrambled as well. I wasted 8 hours doing this encoding so it kinda sucks.
